Dayla Privacy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Dayla collects nothing. Dayla has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. We never see your days.

Where your data lives. Your tasks, days and attached files are stored on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We cannot read them.

One thing passes through. If your iPhone's lock screen card is showing and you change something on your Mac, the Mac sends the card's new content so the card can update while your phone is asleep. That content is the task and project name, the project's colour and the card's times, with your phone's card address. It passes through our relay, which runs on Cloudflare, and then through Apple's push service. Our relay stores nothing and keeps no log. Your Mac's IP address reaches Cloudflare, as with any internet request. If you don't use the card, nothing is sent.

Camera. On iPhone, Dayla uses the camera only when you attach a photo to a task.

Crash reports. If you chose to share analytics with developers in your device's settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports.

Deleting your data. Delete the app to remove what's on the device. To remove what's in iCloud, delete Dayla's data in your iCloud storage settings.

Taking your data with you. Export All Days gives you everything in one file: your tasks as a table, all your data, and your attached files. You'll find it in the File menu on Mac, and in the Review's menu on iPhone.

If you write to us. We get your email address and your message, and use them only to answer you. Ask us and we delete them.

This website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Cloudflare serves it, so your IP address reaches them, as with any website.
